A decorative clipboard for all my notes

Hi Everyone,

Pronty heeft een hele gave serie klemborden, waarvan ik er deze maand één gedecoreerd heb. Ik heb hiervoor het Cheeseboard clipboard with a penclip 467.941.708, het stencil Merry everything 470.805.037 en een aantal embellishments gebruikt.

Pronty has got a great series of clipboards, of which I decorated one this month. I’ve used the  Cheeseboard clipboard with a penclip 467.941.708, the stencil Merry everything 470.805.037 and some embellishments.

Hoewel het clipboard al zwart van zichzelf is, wilde ik hem nog wat intenser zwart maken. Ik heb hem daarom eerst bewerkt met zwarte gesso.

Although the clipboard is already black, I wanted to intensify the color. So I painted it with black gesso.

Ik wilde het stencil Merry everything 470.805.037 graag op een andere manier dan normaal gebruiken. Ik heb daarom eerst de randen overgetrokken met een potlood. Vervolgens heb ik deze lijnen overgetrokken met een witte sharpie pen.

I wanted to use the stencil Merry everything 470.805.037 in a different way than usual. First I traced the lines with a pencil and then I traced those lines with a white sharpie marker.

Daarna heb ik mijn embellishments op het bord bevestigd met een lijmpistool.

Then I glued my embellishments on the board with a hot glue gun.   

En nu is mijn bord klaar om al mijn notities op te bewaren !

And now the board is ready to hold all my notes !

Ik hoop dat ik jullie heb kunnen inspireren om ook met de Pronty clipboards aan de slag te gaan en daarbij je stencils eens op een andere manier te gebruiken.

Vandaag heb ik lekker gewerkt op een doek van 50x50cm, ik heb met acrylverf gewerkt en verschillende stencils.

Hello everyone,

Today I've worked on a canvas of 50 bij 50 cm. I've used acrylic paint and some stencils.

Dit is het eind resultaat, op de volgende foto's laat ik stap voor stap zien hoe dit tot stand is gekomen.

This is the end result, the following photo's show the step by step proces.

Als eerste heb ik drie kleuren acrylverf op het doek verdeeld. De verf heb ik aangebracht met een oude credit card.

First I applied three colours on the canvas. I applied the paint with an old creditcard.

Met de stencils en zwarte acrylverf heb ik verschillende motieven aangebracht, nadat de gekleurde verf droog was.

With the stencils and black acrylic paint I applied different patterns, after the coloured had dried.

Deze keer wil ik ook met teksten gaan werken en ook die heb ik met zwarte acrylverf en een stencil aangebracht, ik gebruik hiervoor het liefst een sponsje of vinger dabbers.

This time I wanted to use some text stencils, I also applied the text with black acrylic paint and I used a sponge or finger dabbers.

Om de gesponste figuren heen teken ik kaders met een zwarte Posca, dit is een stift waar acrylverf in zit.

Around the figures I've drawn some frames with a black Posca, this is a marker with acrylic paint in it.

Hier zie je dat je door eerst te lijnen te tekenen met een Posca en lineaal je de vlakken mooi strak kan vullen met de zwarte acrylverf en een platte penseel.

If you use a ruler and a Posca, you can draw some straight lines. And after that you can colour them in.

Ik vond dat er nog wel wat bij kon en heb zo'n beetje in het midden nog een cirkel aangebracht, met behulp van een CD en heb ik met een stencil in de cirkel gewerkt. Ik heb ook nog wat meer tekst aangebracht.

I thought it needed something more, so I used a CD to make a circle and worked in it with a stencil. I also applied some more texts.

Ik heb om de teksten weer met zwarte vlakken gewerkt.

I used some more black around the text.

Dit is het eind resultaat. De teksten zijn van de nieuwste collectie en die vond ik erg leuk om hier bij te gebruiken.

This is the end result. The texts are from the new collection and I enjoyed using them.

Ik heb de volgende stencils gebruikt uit de nieuwste collectie: 470.529.09 travel quotes, 470.268.120 Lama & cactus, 470.268.119 Tropical nature, 470.268.121 Lama & cactus 1. Uit vorige collecties heb ik de volgende stencils gebruikt: 470.801.047, 470.801.049, 470.803.049, 470.801.040.

Dit doek heb ik gemaakt als voorbeeld voor een workshop, waarvan de opbrengst naar de Samenloop voor Hoop in Drachten gaat en waar ik zelf aan mee doe. De stencils worden gesponsord door Pronty.

Vandaag ga ik jullie een bladzijde uit mijn Art journal laten zien, die ik gemaakt heb met de Gelliplate en stencils uit de Travel en Lama collectie.

Today I show you a page from my Art Journal. I made it with my GelliPlate and stencils from the Travel and Lama collection.

Wat heb je nodig:

-Gelliplate 6 inch

-distress Oxide inkt

-brayer

-stencils Pronty: stencils blue: Travel 470.529.010

                                                              Travel Quotes: 470.529.008

- stencil Pronty: World Map grahic 470.803.051

-stempelinkt

-panpastel

-Versamark

-zwarte verf of gesso

What do you need:

-Gelliplate 6 inch

-distress Oxide inkt

-brayer

-stencils Pronty: stencils blue: Travel 470.529.010

                                                              Travel Quotes: 470.529.008

- stencil Pronty: World Map grahic 470.803.051

-stempelinkt

-panpastel

-Versamark

-black paint or gesso

 Leg je Gelliplate op een acrylblok.

Doe er twee kleuren distress Oxide op en rol met de brayer tot je een mooie egale kleur hebt.

Lay your Gelliplate on a Acryllic block.

Put two colors distress Oxide on the plate and roll with your brayer until you have a smooth color.

Neem een achtergrondstempel en leg die op je Gelliplate.

Druk zachtjes met je vingers de stempel overal aan en haal hem er dan af.

Take your background stamp and lay him on the plate.

Press lightly with your fingers on te stamp  and take it of.

Dat is dit het resultaat.

Then this is the result.

Leg het stencil World Map Grahic op je afdruk en spons die met zwarte verf.

Doe dit alleen over het gedeelte waar je afdruk is.

Lay the stencil World Map Grahic on the print and take a sponge with black paint or black gesso en sponge over the holes.

Neem dan een kleurtje Panpastel en maak rondom op kleur met een ovale spons.

Now take your Panpastel en color round the print with a sponge.

Neem het stencil Travel en spons er met een dauber Versamark over.

Haal je stencil eraf en veeg met ronde bewegingen met je sponsje met Panpastel erover.

Doe dit op alle vier de hoeken.

Take the stencil  Travel and a dauber with Versamark and sponge over the image.

Take of the stencil and go over the Versamark with your sponge with PanPastel.

Repeat that on all the corners.

Nu wel de hoeken fixeren, dan blijven de afbeelding mooi en kan je verder werken.

Spray Fixative over the edges.

Stempel langs de rand van je afdruk en plaats je stempels.

Leg dan het stencil Travel Quotes op je pagina. Plak je woorden vlakbij af met schilderstape. Dan is het makkelijker sponsen.

Doe hetzelfde bij de andere woorden.

Stamp round the GelliPlate print and place your other stamps.

Than take the stencil Travel Quotes and lay it on your page.

I put some tape on the word next to the words  I want to make black. That's make it easier. 

Do the same with the other words.

Vandaag weer een kaart van mij, "Sunshine"

Hier onder laat ik zien hoe ik deze kaart heb gemaakt.

Today again a card from me, "Sunshine" 
Below I show you how I made this card.

Als eerste heb ik de vogels gestempeld op aquarel papier en vervolgens op maskeer papier.

Het maskeer papier heeft een niet permanente lijm op de achterkant.

First I stamped the birds on watercolor paper and then on masking paper.

The masking paper has a non-permanent adhesive on the back.
 

De vogels op het maskeer papier heb ik uitgeknipt en op de gestempelde vogels
op het aquarel papier geplakt.

I cut out the birds on the masking paper and glued them on the stamped birds 
on the watercolor paper.
 

Daarna heb ik kleur aangebracht met distress inkt. onderstaande kleuren heb ik hiervoor gebruikt.

Eerst heb ik met geel en oranje de lucht gekleurd.

Then I applied color with distress ink. I have used the colors below.
First I colored the sky with yellow and orange.

 

Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van de layered stencils "Palmtree" van Pronty crafts,

nummer 470.850.000.
Het zijn drie stencils die om de beurt worden gebruikt om kleur aan te brengen.

Met het eerste stencil gebruik je een hele lichte kleur groen, dit wordt het groen op de achtergrond.

Met het tweede stencil gebruik je een wat donkerder kleur groen.

I used the layered stencils "Palmtree" from Pronty crafts,

 number 470.850.000 there are three stencils that are used in turn to apply color. 

With the first stencil you use a very light color green, this becomes green in the background. 

 With the second stencil you use a somewhat darker color green.

Als de eerste twee groene kleuren zijn aangebracht kun je het maskeer papier verwijderen.
Met het derde stencil kun je nu kleur aanbrengen die nog donkerder is, dit groen staat op de voorgrond. Op het vierde stencil staan verschillende teksten.

 When the first two green colors have been applied, you can remove the masking paper. 

With the third stencil you can now apply color that is even darker, 

this green is in the foreground. There are several texts on the fourth stencil.

 

Nu kunnen de vogels worden ingekleurd, ik heb hiervoor onderstaande kleuren gebruikt.

Now the birds can be colored, I used the colors below.

mdf Mailbox

De mdf artikelen van Pronty kun je in allerlei stijlen bewerken. Ik ging deze keer voor de Greywash uitstraling en bewerkte het postbakje 460.423.720

You can decorate the mdf products from Pronty in any style you want. This time I wanted to create the greywash look on the 3D Mailbox 460.423.720

Bewerk alle onderdelen eerst met een laag gesso en een onderlaag van antraciet grijs.

Prepare all the panels with white gesso and cover them with dark grey paint.

Breng met een kwast zwarte gesso, bruine en grijze verf streperig aan, zie foto.

Paint with a brush stripes with the black gesso, the brown and the grey paint, look at the photo.

Bestrooi dit met meel...

Sprinkle with flour..

en wrijf dit uit met je vingers in de richting van de strepen.

and use your fingers to rub this in the same direction as your stripes

Veeg het schoon met een oude doek, dan ziet het er zo uit.

Wipe with a dry cloth, it looks like this

Bewerk zo alle onderdelen en zet je box in elkaar.

Paint all your panels this way and put them together.

Versier je postbakje naar wens, ik gebruikte ornamentjes hiervoor.

I used some ornaments to design the mailbox.

Je hoeft natuurlijk geen post in het bakje te doen, hij lijkt mij superhandig voor al mijn Mask stencils!

You don't have to use the box only for your mail ofcourse. I think I'll put all my Mask stencils in it!
