Vandaag laat ik jullie zien hoe je deze mixed media kaart maakt met acrylverf, foamstempels

stempels en gelli plate

Today I want to show you how to make this mixed media card with acrylpaint, foamstamps and gelli plate

Begin met verf aan te brengen op je gelli plate. Plaats van de 2 kleuren een dot op het papier en rol dit uit met de brayer. De verf mag dooreen lopen.

Start with adding paint to your gelli plate. Place some small dots from both colors and spread with an bayer. It is noth wrong to mix the colors on your gelli plate.

Stempel met 2 verschillende foamstempels op de gelliplate.

Stamp with 2 foamstamps on your gelli plate.

 

Snij je papier op de maten van een kaart.

Cut your paper to the size of a card.

Neem nu een stencil en breng travel en Fly met zwarte inkt en sponsje aan op de kaart.

Take a stencil and bring the words with black ink en dauber on your card.

Neem een zwarte pen en trek een kader op je kaart

Take a black pen en drawn around the card

Neem stempels naar keuze en stempel deze op de kaart. Het vliegtuig heb ik op wit papier gestempeld en uitgeknipt.

Make a choise witch stamps you gonna use. Stamp one directly on your card. I stamped the plain on a white card and cut I out.

Werk je kaart af op een zwarte achtergrond.

Glue the card on black cardstock.

Hello and welcome,

Today I want to show you how to make this mixed media card with paint, stencils, stamps and ink and a book page.

Begin met verf aan te brengen op je papier. Plaats wat stippen op het papier en smeer dat dun uit met een oude spaarkaart. Gebruik één kleur per keer en droog tussen de laagjes. Je hebt echt maar heel weinig verf nodig.

Start with adding paint to your paper. Place some small dots and spread with an old savings card. Use one colour at the time and dry between the layers. You only need a little paint for this.

Scheur wat reepjes boekpapier en plak dit op, daarna smeer je er met je pasje weer wat verf over. Laat ook wat delen onbedekt.

Tear some pieces of book paper and adhere to your card. Than add some paint with your savings card again. Leave some white spaces.

Neem nu witte verf of gesso en spons door verschillende stencils. Je kunt ook met je spaarpasje wat verf aanbrengen.

Take some white paint or gesso and sponge through different stencils. You can also add paint with your savings card.

Neem een afstekende kleur en een ander stencil en spons in de hoeken.

Take a contrasting colour and sponge through a stencil in the corners.

Stempel je afbeelding (evt met een stempelhulp, zodat je een goede afdruk krijgt)

Stamp the main image (use a stamping tool to make a crisp image)

Kleur in en schaduw met potloden of een ander medium. Ik gebruikte Derwent Inktense, die pakken prima op verf.

Colour and shadow around your image with pencils or an other coloring medium. I used Derwent Inktense pencils. They go well on paint.

Stempel de onderzijde van de stempel langs de rand van de kaart, voeg een tekst toe en mat op cardstock naar keuze. Ik heb hier geen stap-voor-stap foto's van, vergeten :), maar nog wel een keer het eindresultaat, waarop je voornoemde stappen kunt zien.

Stamp the bottom of the stamp around the border of the card, add a sentiment and mat onto cardstock of your choice. I didn't take any pictures of these steps, I forgot :),  but this is a picture of the end result, where you can see the steps mentioned.

A cool clipboard for my notes

Hello Everyone

Pronty heeft een hele gave serie klemborden, waarvan ik er deze maand weer één gedecoreerd heb.

Ik heb hiervoor MDF clipboard A4 with pen clip 461.941.706 en het stencil New York 459.010.001 gebruikt.

Pronty has got a great series of clipboards, of which I decorated one this month. I’ve used the  MDF clipboard A4 with pen clip 461.941.706 and the stencil New York 459.010.001.

Eerst heb ik heb clipboard geverfd met witte gesso.

-

First I painted the clipboard with white gesso.

Daarna heb ik met gel medium het clipboard beplakt met tissue papier voor een stoere achtergrond.

After that I used gel medium to paste the tissuepaper for a cool background.   

Met zwarte verf heb ik vervolgens de afbeelding van het stencil New York 459.010.001 overgebracht. Daarna heb ik ook de randen zwart gemaakt.

With black paint I transferred the picture from the stencil New York 459.010.001. After that I painted the edges black.

En nu is mijn bord klaar om al mijn notities op te bewaren ! Ik hoop dat ik jullie heb kunnen inspireren om ook met de Pronty clipboards aan de slag te gaan.

Layered stencils

Hello everyone,

Vandaag heb ik twee kaartjes voor jullie gemaakt met de layered stencils.

-

Today I've made two cards with the layered stencils.

Het mooie zwarte MDF clipboard is ook van Pronty.

-

The black MDF clipboard is also available at Pronty.

Met het eerste stencil heb ik de roze Distress Oxide Ink aangebracht met een vinger dabber.

-

I applied pink Distress Oxide Ink with the first stencil and a finger dabber.

Stencil twee en dus de tweede laag op de kaart heb ik met groen gedaan.

-

For stencil number two, which is the second layer on the card, I used green.

Voor het derde en laatste stencil heb ik blauw gebruikt.

-

I used blue for the third and final stencil.

Dan is dit het resultaat. De flamingo's zijn van papier en zijn ook van Pronty, ik heb ze gekleurd met dezelfde kleur roze en een beetje zwart. De tekst is met een stencil en zwarte acryl verf opgebracht.

This is the result. The flamingos are made of paper and are also available at Pronty, I coloured them with the same pink Ink and a little bit of black. I applied the text with a stencil and black acrylic paint.

Dit zijn de stencils 470.850.004 en 470.268.119 die ik voor deze kaart heb gebruikt en het papieren setje met de uitdruk figuren.

These are the stencils that I used for this card, 470.850.004 and 470.268.119 and the set with the flamingos.

Voor het tweede kaartje heb ik de Distress Ink gebruikt in vier verschillende kleuren groen. Dit is het eerste stencil.

For the second card I used Distress Ink in four different shades of green. This is the first stencil.

Stencil twee en dus ook laag twee met een iets donkerder kleur groen.

Stencil two, which is also the second layer, in slightly darker green.

Stencil drie, met een iets donkere en fellere kleur groen.

-

Stencil three, with a slightly darker and brighter green.

Als laatste stencil vier met een donkergroene kleur. 

-

Finally stencil four with a dark green colour.

Een mooie groene kaart er achter en een paar toekans maken het kaartje helemaal af.

A nice green card and a few toucans complete the card.

Dit is het stencil setje 470.850.005 wat ik voor deze kaart heb gebruikt. De toekans komen uit hetzelfde setje als de flamingo's.

Ik kan iets dat ik heb opgebouwd niet zo maar laten vallen, daarom  ga ik met Jaap van Yart Factory zorgen voor een goede opvolging en vernieuwing van het ProntyCraftsCreatorsteam.
Het kost nog even wat tijd, maar binnenkort worden jullie daarvan op de hoogte gebracht.

Together with Jaap from YartFactory we will take care to find an replacemant for my function and renew the social media team.You will hear soon.

De nieuwste lijn ligt op dit moment bij de groothandel. 

Als afscheid laat ik hier de projecten zien, die ik al even geleden met deze lijn maakte. Ik had de beperking van twee kleuren stempelinkt, de rest had ik een vakantiehuisjes laten liggen. Soms is dat een goede bijkomstigheid.

The newest products are avaible at the whole salers, so they will be in your store quite soon. As a goodbye I will place some projects I made with this line. I was limited by using only two ink colours. I think it is okay to set a limited to yourself once in a while. 

Rest mij iedereen te bedanken voor de belangstelling voor mijn bescheiden bijdrages op dit blog en mijn andere publicaties op sociale media.

In deze post van mij laat ik jullie het gebruik van verschillende stencils zien op een pagina in mijn Art Journal.

Er valt heel wat te kiezen en op deze pagina heb ik 4 verschillende stencils gebruikt.

In this post of my, I show you several stencils on a page in my Art Journal.

There a lot to choose, but on this page I chose 4 different stencils.

This is what you need:

- an Art Journal

-distress  Oxide inkt

-distress tools

- a black and a white watercolorpencil

-watercolor paint

-brush

Neem je Art Journal en een inlegvel. Snijd dat inlegvel schuin op maat en maak ook de vouw.

Leg dit vel in je AJ en teken de omtrek.

Take your Art Journal and an insert sheet. Cut the sheet slanting as you wish and make also the fold.

Put the sheet into the journal and draw the contour of it with a pencil.

Bewerk de achtergrond in de kleuren Distress Oxide die jij wilt.

Make the background with Distress Oxide into the colors you want.

Bewerk ook het inlegvel met Distress Oxide.

Do the same with the insert sheet.

Leg je stencil op je pagina. Neem een distresstool en maak de rand in de kleur van je keuze.

Doe dit rondom je pagina. Ik heb een tintje donkerder blauw genomen dan de achtergrond.

Lay the stencil on the page. Take a distress tool and make the border random. I took a touch darker than the color blue I used on the background.

Dit is dat het resultaat.

Here the result.

Leg het Tryptich stencil op je pagina en maak hier en daar een afdruk  met een distresstool met zwarte Distress Oxide.

Lay the Tryptich stencil on the page and take the distress tool with black Distress Oxide ink and go over some spaces of the stencil.

Begin aan het inlegvel.

Stempel de ogen, neus en mond. Ook de stempel die in het haar komt.

Teken met potlood heel licht de contouren van het gezicht.

Dan weet je waar je de stencils kunt plaatsen.

Leg de doily op het vel. 

Neem je donkerste kleur van de achtergrond en wrijf licht over het stencil.

Leg het stencil op een andere plek. Neem een babydoekje en wrijf weer zachtjes over het stencil. Je neemt de inkt nu weg.

Next work on the insert sheet.

Stamp the eyes, nose and mouth and also the stamp that comes into the hair.

Take a pencil and draw very light full the contour of the face.

So you know than where your have to lay your stencil.

Take the doily stencil and lay it on the paper.

Take the darkest color from the background on the distress tool and gently rub over the stencil.

Lay the stencil on an other place. Take a babywipe an rub also gently over the stencil. Now you take of the color from the background.

Maak de haren met het Feather stencil.

Neem een distress tool met zwarte Distress Oxide en ga daarmee over de veer.

Drapeer de veer meerdere malen langs het gezicht zodat er "haar" ontstaat.

Make hair with the feather stencil. Take the distress tool with black Distress Oxide and go over the feather. Drape the feather several times along the face. So you get the "hair".

Neem nu een zwart Aquarelpotlood en maak schaduw in het gezicht door heel licht wat kleur aan te brengen en dit uit te vegen met je vingers.

Take a black watercolor pencil and make some shadow into the face by  bringing lightly some color

round the eyes, nose and mouth. Also along the contour of the face.

Wipe out the color with your fingers.

Maak ook wat schaduw als nek. Kleur de ogen en mond met waterverf.

Gebruik naar wens een wit aquarelpotlood voor lichte schaduw. Zie mond.

Zet in de ogen met een witte acrylmarker witte stippen.

Make also some shadow round the neck. Color the eyes and mouth with watercolor.

Us as disired a white watercolor pencil voor light shadow. See the mouth.

Put a white dot into the eyes.

Kleur de stempel boven de ogen met waterverf en plaats de stempel.

Zet met paarse distressinkt en een stempel wat stippen op de achtergrond.

Color the stamp in the hair with watercolor and brush.

Put a fine dot stamp with purple inkt on some places of the paper.

Maak je pagina in je AF af door wat achtergrond stempels te plaatsen en wat blaadjes.

De blaadjes heb ik ingekleurd met een groene acrylmarker.

Finish the page by putting some background stamps and some branches with leaves.

I colored the leaves with a green acrylmarker.

Plak het inlegvel in je AJ. 

Stempel nog wat cirkels. Geef de cirkels schaduw met gelatos.

Glue the insert sheet on your Art Journal page.

Stamp some circles. Give the circles shadow with gelatos.
