Tea anyone?

Wat een prachtige nieuwe mdf producten en stencils heeft Pronty Crafts weer uitgebracht deze maand. Ik laat jullie vandaag zien hoe ik de nieuwe theedoos heb gedecoreerd met enkele van de nieuwe stencils en één oudere.

Pronty Crafts has released some great new mdf products and stencils. Today I want to show you how I've decorated the tea box with some of the new stencils and one older one.

Ik nam alle panelen over op papier en sneed de stukken uit. Daarna heb ik alle stukken gesponsd met inkt. Door met dezelfde kleuren nogmaals te sponsen, ditmaal door diverse stencils, kwam er wat meer diepte.

I traced all panels of the box onto cardstock, I cut them out and sponged the pieces with ink. I sponged again with the same colours, this time through stencils to create depth.

Met donkerbruine inkt sponsde ik langs de randen door een ander stencil. Zie je het effect?

With dark brown ink I sponged through another stencil, do you see the effect it gives?

Ik gebruikte zwarte gesso om de panelen zwart te maken en smeerde een beetje metallic gold wax op de randjes. Ik maakt de doos af met de letters TEA en goud embossing

Daarna plakte ik de papieren op de panelen en schroefde een handvatje op het deksel.

I used black gesso to paint all the edges of the panels of the box and added gold metallic paste. 
 I've finished the box with the letters TEA and some gold embossing.

Then I adhered the paper to the panels and screwed a handle on the top.

Ik hoop dat ik je geïnspireerd heb om ook met de Pronty mdf-producten en de stencils aan de slag te gaan.
