Storage time

Vandaag is het mijn beurt om jullie te laten zien hoe je de leuke mdf-producten van Pronty Crafts kunt bewerken. Ik gebruikte pasta, gesso en stencils voor de buitenkant en eigengemaakt papier voor de binnenkant en de tabjes. Kijk je mee?

Today it is my turn to show you how you can decorate the awesome Pronty Crafts mdf products. I used paste, gesso and stencils for the outside and handmade paper for the inside and the tabs. Let me show you.

Ik maakte deze stoere mdf Pronty Crafts sorteerbak met tabbladen 460.423.550.

I made this sturdy Pronty Crafts mdf sorting box with tabs 460.423.550.

Nadat alles in de zwarte gesso was gezet, nam ik een stencil en structuurpasta.

After I've covered everything in black gesso I took a stencil and modeling paste. 

Vervolgens plakte ik wat uitgestanste vormen op en daarna bracht ik weer een laag zwarte gesso aan.

I then stuck on a couple of die cut shapes and covered everything with a layer of black gesso again.

Met mijn vingers bracht ik heel zachtjes wat metallic pasta aan.

With my finger I carefully added some metallic paste.

De tabbladen en de binnenkant van de doos hoeven niet volledig geverfd, alleen de buitenranden is genoeg, aangezien we hierop papier gaan plakken. Teken het model over en snij papier op maat, net iets kleiner dan het tabblad. Doe hetzelfde met de box. Ik gebruikte creme papier.

Neem een stencil dat je ook voor de buitenkant hebt gebruikt en spons (of kwast) inkt erdoor en stempel daarna met verschillende stempels. Spons daarna de randen en plak op.

The tabs and the insides of the box do not need to be totally covered in gesso, just the edges is enough, as we are going to glue paper on them. Trace the tabs and sides onto paper and cut them out a little smaller. I used creme coloured paper for this.

Take a stencil you used for the outside and sponge (or brush) ink through the stencil and use a couple of different stamps. Sponge alle edges with some ink and adhere the paper to the tabs and the sides.

Dan zet je alles in elkaar en is je bakje klaar!

Put it all together and you're done!
