Two Holiday Watercolor Cards

 

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag heb ik een inspirerende blog met de geweldige stempels van Pronty voor jullie. De sterren passen geweldig bij een kerstmis thema en werden gelijk twee kerstkaarten. :)

Ik maakte water color kaarten. Ik hou van deze watercolor-look. Voor de achtergrond gebruikte ik de Harmony inkt pads van spectrum noir. Het watercolor papier is super om achtergronden te maken.

Today I have an inspiration with the great stamps of Prontycrafts for you. The stars immediately jumped on the Christmas train and became two cards. :)

I made watercolor cards. I like this watercolor look. For the background I used the Harmony Inkpads from Spectrum Noir. The watercolor paper is great for creating backgrounds.

 

 

Er is ook een stencil in hetzelfde thema als de stempels.

In the same look as the stamps, there is also a stencil.

 

Ik maakte het stencil vast en bracht met een bkending tool inkt van het embossing inktpad aan. Daarna gebruikte ik WOW Embossing poeder. 

 

I hung it up and colored it with a blending tool and Embossinginkpad. Then I used WOW Embossing Powder.

Hugs Cards, and a clip board

Vandaag laat ik twee kaarten zien en een clipboard.

Hiervoor heb ik de spirograph stencils gebruikt.

Hey everyone, 

today there are two cards for you and a clipboard. I used the spirograph stencil for both projects.

De stencils van Pronty Crafts zijn echt geweldig.

The stencils by Pronty Crafts are just great. 

Voor de kaart van vandaag heb ik het A4 stencil Spirograph 1 470.803.049 op mijn aquarelpapier gelegd en langs twee randen vastgeplakt. 

De distress inktpads zijn perfect om de achtergrond te maken, maar je kan natuurlijk ook een andere inkt op waterbasis gebruiken.

For today's cards, I have put the A4 large stencil Spirograph 1 470.803.049 on an A5 watercolor paper and glued to the edges. The Distress Ink stamp pad is perfect for designing the background - of course, other water-based ink pads are good to.

Nadat de achtergrond klaar was, heb ik hem in twee delen gesneden.

Dat is de basis voor beide kaarten.

After I finished the background, I split the sheet and made the base for the cards.

De tekst heb ik gemaakt van verschillende stempels.

 From different stamps and stamping sets I prepared the sentiments for the cards. 

De gestempelde tekst is van Avery Elle.

De gestanste tekst is van MFT en Crealies.

The stamped text is from Avery Elle. 

The cuttings dies are by MFT and Crealies. 

Dit is het eindresultaat.

And this is the result.

Het klembord

The Clipboard

Hier is het klembord dat ik maakte met het spirograph stencil 470.803.048.

Eindelijk heb ik weer eens Gesso en structuurpasta gebruikt.

Here is the clipboard that I made with the spirograph stencil 470.803.048.

Finally I used Gesso and Strukturpaste again.

Ik ben begonnen met het  bewerken van het klembord met gesso.

Dit laten drogen. Toen het stencil erop gelegd en met een tooltje de verschillende kleuren distress oxide inkt aangebracht. Haal het stencil weg en laat opnieuw goed drogen.

I primed the Pronty Crafts clipboard first with Gesso and let it dry. Then I put on the stencil and wiped it with different oxide ink colors. Then I removed the stencil and let it dry well.

Leg dan het stencil terug op het klembord en breng de texture paste aan.

Deze droogt mooi glimmend op.

 Then I put the stencil back on and used the texture paste for a glossy finish.

Hoe leuk is dat om te doen, en je hebt zelf ook nog kleurrijke vingers van de Oxide inkt.

That's fun and you have colorful fingers when you use the Distress Oxide Ink's also :))

vandaag heb ik een kaart met een mooi stencil voor jullie gemaakt

De achtergrond is gemaakt met Distress Inkt in heldere kleuren 

The background was made with Distress Inks in bright colors. 

Plak een stuk aquarelpapier  met daarop het stencil vast op je werkvlak, 

gebruik tape die niet zo sterk is.

Glue a piece of watercolor paper with the stencil on it, on your work surface. 

Use low sticky tape. 

Breng met een blendingtool de kleurtjes Distress inkt aan. 

Haal het stencil van het papier en bestrooi de nog natte inkt met clear embossingpoeder. Schud het overtollige poeder af. Verhit de kaart met een embossingtool, tot alle poeder gesmolten is en de vlakjes er glanzend uitzien.   

Apply the colors Distress ink with a blending tool. 

Remove the stencil and sprinkle clear embossing powder in the ink that is still wet.

Heat it it with a heat tool until all is shiny

Neem een snijmal van een tag en snijd hiermee een tag uit de gemaakte kaart. 

Plak de kaart op een iets grotere zwarte kaart. Plaats de  tag met foamtape terug op zijn plek, versier de kaart zoals te zien is op het voorbeeld.

Take a  cutting die, cut out a tag. Glue the top card on a ,slighty larger, black card.  Place the cut out with foam tape on its place. Decorate the card 

 Ik hoop dat je de kaart mooi vindt, tot een volgende post.
